Facebook has launched a marketing analytics certificate program

Facebook is introducing a new certificate program to assist professionals in furthering their careers in marketing analytics.

The six-course Marketing Analytics Professional Certification has been added to Facebook’s library of certificate programs.

The program, which is offered in collaboration with Coursera, teaches the skills required for success in the field of marketing analytics.

The demand for marketing analysts is expected to grow by 96,000 job openings per year, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Anyone interested in pursuing a career in this field, regardless of prior experience, can enroll in the program.

According to Facebook, the courses will teach you everything you need to know to be a valuable job candidate.

If you meet all of the prerequisites, you will receive both the Coursera and the Facebook Marketing Science Professional Certification at the end of the program.

Here’s how to sign up for the course and what you’ll need to do to finish it.

How to Enroll

Coursera is now offering Facebook’s new professional certificate.

Those who already have a Coursera subscription can enroll in the program for free.

Non-members can try the program for 7 days for free. A monthly subscription is then required.

It’s unlikely that anyone will be able to finish the program during the free trial period, as Facebook estimates it will take 80 hours to complete.

Given that the program’s goal is to train you to be a marketable marketing analyst, it’s understandable that you won’t be able to speedrun it.

However, the trial period should be sufficient to determine whether it is worth paying for, or whether the field of marketing analytics is right for you in the first place.

What Is Involved in the Program?

Aptly’s marketing analytics experts created the program, which includes six courses that will teach you how to:

  • Apply fundamental marketing principles and make data-driven decisions.
  • To approach common analytics questions, use the OSEMN data analysis framework.
  • Use essential analytics tools such as Python and SQL to collect, connect, and analyze relevant data.
  • Tableau can be used to collect, sort, evaluate, and visualize marketing data.
  • Create experiments and test hypotheses to determine the effectiveness of advertising.
  • To test ad effectiveness and evaluate the results, use Facebook Ads Manager.

Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to put your newly acquired skills to use in hands-on data analysis projects.

According to Facebook, completed projects can even be added to your portfolio to show a potential employer.

What You Get If You Finish The Program

Completing the course necessitates passing a final exam provided by Facebook Blueprint.

Facebook offers a study guide to assist you in preparing for the exam.

The study guide is technically the sixth and final course, and it is only available after you have completed the first five.

So you can’t just join and take the exam. You must complete the entire program from beginning to end.

After passing the exam, you will receive the Facebook and Coursera Marketing Science Certification.

The certificate can be displayed on your website, LinkedIn profile, resume, or anywhere else you want.

You’ll also have access to the Facebook Certification Career Network, a job search platform with 130+ employers looking to hire people with these specific certificates.

The program is now available and can be completed at your leisure. Just keep in mind that if you decide it’s not for you, you can cancel the free trial.
